Boy's Appliqued T shirts

These are 4 of the 14 shirts I will be putting appliqued designs on for my neighbors 2 grandsons. The machine appliques all came from different designers but if you are interested in one just post a comment and I will send you the info.

Happy 2nd Birthday Kierstyn

Kierstyn is 2 years old today and we had a Dora cake for dessert after lunch today. (I found the cute Dora baking pans at a yard sale for 50 cents and her mom did the baking and decorating). She did really good blowing out her two candles so I'm sure she will do great for her party on Sunday.

I think I might have solved the "hold me while I sleep Nonnie" problem. I put her back in her seat this morning and so far she has slept 2 hours!!

Yesterday I went to a fabric sale by Hannah Kate a local children's clothing trunk show company. I got corduory, minky, Michael Miller prints and others just $3 a yard. Yes it was a dream come true the girls will have some cute outfits I hope for the fall and winter now to get busy planning and sewing.

Almost finished! Papa just needs to finish the touch up on the chair rail and crown. Then hang my pictures and we will be finished with the kitchen.

Happy 3rd Birthday Kaylee Bug

Kaylee received alot of really nice presents and Meredith was more than happy to help her open them.

Not the best pic of me (no makeup and a bad hair day for sure) but the girls looked so sweet.

Kaylee always points with her middle finger her daddy is trying hard to get her to stop but I think it's cute.

She looked so cute in her Birthday outfit the top is Bonnie Blue Holly with an added ruffle and the pants are Britches and Bloomers by Jackie Clark.

I have been running around for the past week like a crazy lady. We had a wonderful time at Kaylee's 3rd Bday on Saturday. I did make all the girls outfits, but I haven't got the

pictures uploaded yet. I have had the worst headache for days, but today I think it may be gone so I did get to do some sewing today this is an Holly by Bonnie Blue changed up a little. I added width in the front and cut out a separate yoke piece to attached the skirt too. The owl is from Embroidery Boutique he is cute isn't he.

Labor Day 2009 for Papa and Me

This is a children's Corner Lucy dress for miss Emma who is Kaylee's little friend. She is having her 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks so I am ahead of the game on this one. Her mom pick out the fabric and ribbon, the machine embroidery is a new font I purchased from Embroidery-Boutique called Hanna Alphabet.

Apples!!!

Today Meredith, Kierstyn and I went to the apple orchards in Cullman. The girls seem to have a great time, they had candy apples, dried apples and of course fresh apples right from the trees.
